    apparently bios prior to a06 are buggy and report wrong temps. ugh this is so annoying.

    Doesn't seem to be any difference for me between A02 and A11 in displayed temp's,fan runs for a lot longer and at higher speed with A11 though......I flashed A02 back.

    @ElPenguino,I used nvidia tool's,but don't have it installed anymore,because it add's unwanted processes,and I don't overclock,apart from trying it a few times.;)

    I overclocked the FX770 100 over everything, core, memory and shader...checking temps...anyone have some tried and true settings for this card?

    EDIT: I had always heard and believed with 'some' of these nvidia cards, you really were missing out if you didn't overclock them.

    I reckon the stock settings are good,especially considering the M4400 is not over endowed with cooling for the GPU.

    I also think generally,overclocking midrange GPU's is largely a waste of time,being limited by 128bit bus more than clock speed's,sure you can increase 3dmark score's a lot,but you won't get anywhere near the same sort of increase in game framerate's percentage wise........8800M GTX in sli is another story.

    Some people think it's worthwhile though,you will just have to keep experimenting with different clock's to find the highest you can go with game stability and temp's,every GPU is different,what works for me,may not for you....type of thing:)

    Apparantly all new buyers experience this "my system is perfect paradox", as did I. Did you try running L4D on Very High settings native resolution stock GPU clocks? My system throttles in an hour or so.

    Overclocking this card on a 2008 game? Forget it. I'm gonna stop pretending all is well.
