Far Cry 2 is running fine....just did about 1 1/2 hour of it...temps stayed good throughout at 85c and went down straight away after the game but...again the fans seem to stay on :( fps were the same as before, 20fps, which is very playable in far cry 2, may seem low but plays fine. Ah...the fans stopped as i'm typing...temp is 48 just like 2 min. after the game :D

85C = ~185F ... I would not push the overclocking past 90C max. Warranty is gone if you fry your own card by OCing, which is not supported by Dell.

    Because, it's yin-yang.

My M4400 overclocks to 690/1010 and stays at 85C.

My M4400 locks up every 10 minutes.

I cannot have both. Maybe the new one...maybe.

Hope you're right....about the new one.

I actually didn't even try overclocking higher yet....maybe try once to see if temps rise much...is there a big difference in temp for you between 600 /900 and 690 / 1010?

How's the new system coming along besides this? No lockups etc. yet?

After a big PITA trying to get ntune to uninstall, installed system tools properly and used "find optimum frequency".....I was pretty amazed at what it made the "optimum".
Basically it really struggled to run through 3dmark with these settings and artifacts were getting pretty bad by the end, also crashed a couple of times first....max temp was 83 deg C.
You would probably need to alter voltage to get any sort of stability at these clocks, which would equal more heat, didn't try a game with these settings and would doubt if it would even run without crashing......quite interesting nevertheless, but its good enough at stock clocks for me.

Wow...that's a really high score though...what version of system tools are you running? I don't have the "find optimal" button nor the "test" button :(

I just did an OC to 640 / 940 / 1390 (added 140 too all) which gave me a 6751 result with temps not over 82c.
Then added 50 more too all and 3dmark06 crashed at the first test...don't like it when it does that so don't really want to try pushing further
