Do the new integrated GPUs on the Haswell support LCD + 2 external displays? I run LCD + 2x external displays in my dock in the office on my E6430....but hate the battery hit with the nVidia.

    EDIT
Found some info...."The Haswell chips will also support the latest Display Port 1.2 standard with support for 4K x 2K resolution and up to three monitors from a single connection." Source

Wonder if that is the same for the mobile CPUs.....

Yah, they are, in the US, the price is alright, but in Canada, oh boy, they're over 800$ more than in the US...

Was really hoping to see the E7440 drop this week. A number of other haswell ultrabooks hit, but sadly no sign of this one so far.

I like Latitudes but the screen quality is something that needs to be improved I believe. From what it looks like, the upcoming Latitudes don't seem all that better in this regard. The best screen in the Latitudes is the 1920x1080 in the E6530 right now I think and even that isn't all that good (I tried it). Unless I'm mistaken, this screen is better than any of the other Latitude screens.

The E6x30 series actually support 3 displays without using a discrete GPU, but at least two of the displays must use an ACTIVE displayport connection (native DP monitor or HDMI/DVI with an active adapter). I have a E6230 (no nvidia GPU option) running the internal LCD plus two full HD screens (via adapters) with the advanced dock.

I have an E6540 here at work and I am powering 3 monitors with it. Works pretty well so far.

Impressions? Have you had the 6530 to compare?
