Any information on next generation Haswell based Latitudes?

    Same here. The Premiere site doesn't list the E6440 just yet but our rep emailed and had 3 or 4 configs we could choose from. None were that appealing. The E6440 does show up on the support site now.

    Yes, I see it showed up in the model selection today but it's a link to nowhere (for me anyway).

    I have a quad core 6430 and am interested in the extra battery life of the Haswell based units, but not at the cost of processor cores. None of the "eval" configs were quad cores.

    Looks like it will be up soon, though. Hopefully with the range of processor configs that the 6540 has.

    The E6440 owner's manual is up. Doesn't list specific processor models, but shows "3MB or 4MB cache," which would only be the case on dual-core models. Oh well.

    I talked to my rep last week, actually - should have posted here. They're on my Premier page now.

    She confirmed that there aren't any quad-core 6440's planned. Highest I can order in a CTO is an i7-4600M. Oh, well X 2 ...

    Makes my 6430 (or a new one) seem a screaming deal.
