actualy, the 3dmark score was messed up because it didn't want to clock up, even after i changed clock settings it would only run 167/100, when i restarted i set back at those clocks and 3dmark ran fine. I tested it out in company of heroes also, that games pushes the entire system harder then 3dmark05 does and it didnt have any problems.

thats wierd, i know that if i clock my card to high, rivatuner rejects it and doesnt allow me to clock the card, but if i restart the comp then i can OC again. lol

im still trying to figure out which is running hot, the intel chipset or the 8400gs

    lol

i donno, i just ran company of heroes for a bit at 650/750 and everything was fine, temps never went over 78c

right now i8kfan is reporting my processor at 24c... and i beleive it cause the fan on the side is blowing out pretty cold air and my room itself is cold. anyways i need to sleep, i'm posting stuff at 4 in the morning...

i'm on a vostro 1400, and yes thats off my cooler and i have my left fan max, it says theres 2 fans but i dont see another one and it doesnt give me control of it.

WoW is down right now so i am gonna test some stuff to see how things go in other games. Will report back with cooling levels.

There's no way it's actually 24C, even at idle. Desktop processors under a very good WC kit (non chilled water) hits around there at idle. What does Core Temp say for the two cores?

    I'm using ForceWare 158.36 off of laptopvideo2go.com.

And sorry, thought he was the guy with the xps 1330. Yeah, 24C is crazy....possibly due to the 1.6Ghz processor?
