Hi thanks for your reply. what you said seems very promising. I think the T61p is fantastics and ca nnot fault it with heat no matter what strain its doein. may get warm but at least when fan is on u still cannot hear it. I hope that it really is just minor noise difference with the m4400. i mean i also got an
8510w and thats idle and the fans so loud and its across the room (2m away).

Can anyone confirm that the m4400 is not as loud as the 8510w under instensive use?
I have had a reply with comparison with the T61p and just want to check if the fan is as loud or lower.
I think by then ill have my final verdict as im looking for one from resale so the chances of returning is not likely thats why any help is deeply appreciated.

    Kind Regards everone

does anyone have a clue how the 770m and 1700m graphic cards distinct each other - or if its worth to spend the extra money on the 1700?

I would not spend the extra as in benchmark they get the same score with the 770M oc'd to the same speed spec's are the same to on the nvidia website.

@chrous25: Do you have the dock as well? Just wondering if the M4400 will fit into the e-port plus with the 9 cell battery in place. Anyone?

The dock is designed to work with 9 cell batteries.

Heh, I meant bad-a**. Not bad as in ugly or anything. I would love a boost too, but not it's $300 to buy one :(

My new computer so far has been playing HL2 on max settings, 4X AA & AF w/ an overclocked GPU @ 134F which is about 56.6667C. I suspect episode two to bump this up 15C max when I use a higher overclock, which is still pretty decent.
