    Hang on...that's something totally different.

The model you name is an IPS panel i think while the panels in our laptops are ALL TN panels, regardless which backlight technology is used it's a whole different story as IPS or S-PVA

Just saw in the M6400 thread that the RGB LED screen has been released for the non-Covet M6400 (not the Edge-to-edge screen). Maybe there is hope for the RGB LED for the M4400 in the near future!

It appears that the RGBLED is now available for the M4400 on the US configuration page!!!!

15.4” Wide WXGA (1280x800) Display [Included in Price]
15.4” Widescreen WXGA (1280x800) LED Display [add $49]
    15.4” UltraSharp™ Wide WXGA+ (1440x900) LED Display [add $70]
    15.4" UltraSharp™ Widescreen WUXGA (1920x1200) Display [add $149]
    15.4" UltraSharp™ Widescreen WUXGA RGB-LED (1920x1200) Display [add $299]

Now I just have to wait for Dell to release their Small Business Christmas coupons!!! Assuming that Dell will offer a new 30% off coupon like they did last month...

..nobody can answer my question about the color of my M4400 LCD back?
Have talked with both american and danish Dell - they are unable to answer me.
it says "LCD Back Cover : Black Finish with RGB LED" in my order confirmation.

It means there is no bezel around the screen.

    Hi Janok

black finish refers to the finish of the whole laptop, which is black. The lid is the grey wavey lid.
There is one person though who managed to get a black lid (from the Latitude) after receiving the grey one and calling Dell too say they made a mistake. They sent by a tech-guy to put on the black one. I think he caught them offguard or something but it worked
