Wow, that is just not worth it. Before I ordered my M6400 I was thinking about getting the M4400 w/the FX1700 chip. Now that I see the price I'm glad I went with the M6400+FX3700. I think the FX1700 is going to be a tough sell at $499...

ya the price is just bonkers.... won't buy at that price.

The card gives what.. 20% increase in performance? Add to that the fact that it is only an overclocked version of the 770 and we have a sure loser.

I still want my RGBLED though, so I am still waiting. Might consider the M6400 if it gets RGB first, cos the graphics are better by default.

Looking at it again, I can't see how the FX1700 can possibly be selling for more than the 3700. You don't get ANYTHING EXTRA with the FX1700, however the 3700 has an extra 512MB of ram.

I don't get it. I hope it is a price mistake.

Well despite the price I ordered mine...
It came out to $2668 after tax. It claims I will have it before the 20th.

    i'm pretty agree with this.

if you need performance in 3D render/CAO (what the M4400 has been designed to), you should upgrade the CPU to the Quad and you 'll get at least 50% of performance , for a price nearly the same (expensive too!)

if you just want to play better and easier in recent game (what the M4400 has not been made for !), so take the FX1700 ! But i'm sure you should buy a M15X with quadro FX3600M instead the M4400 !!

opposed to European customers will be even greater(FX770:FX1770)
For example, for M6400 upgrade costs(FX2700:FX3700) 10900 Kč and exchange rate is 1USD=17.8 Kč => 612 USD
Upgrade for U$ customers cost 399 USD...
