    you're right !
my exemple when i compare french prices in Euros (VAT include) to US price in dollars then i can conclude Dell is a great seller !
Why, because 700€ of the upgrade to X9100 is equel to 700€ for the same upgrade in France !

Moreover, at this time, Euro is stronger than Dollard : 1,00 USD = 0,721 EUR
    So, 700€ shoud be 504,86€ !! not 700€ !!!!

Ahhh all we love Dell marketing.....

    Good one.:)
Be sure to let us know your thoughts, performance, heat etc, when you get it.
    What CPU did you get?

Very nice, not the fastest SSD,but fast enough that I'd like one.:D

Anyone know the AC adapter weight for the M6400 and M4400 ?

M6400: What is the heat and fan noise like with 8GB RAM, quad core and 1GB FX 3700M ?

M4400: What is the heat and fan noise like with 8GB RAM, quad core and 0.5GB FX 770M/1700M ?

    Thanks.

Firstly, i don't think that anybody has the M6400 yet, so answering your questions isn't likely to happen.

Secondly, the M4400 seems to average at least 20+ days turnaround from order to receive, and given that the quad core has been out for 1.5 weeks and the m1700 has been out less than a week, nobody has experiences with either of those configurations.

Hi All, I've been reading everyones post and learning a lot about the m4400. I was wondering if anyone has heard any news about Dell adding Bluray to the m4400. I'm really surprised it hasn't been introduced with a professional level laptop. Also does the m4400 come with the display port cables?

hey ! you know what ? last month i almost buy a m4400 with x9100 CPU. after this one, as i won't afford me to buy a new laptop before at least 4years , i prefer to take the highest possible.
i said 'almost' because i din't buy hit because quad CPU has been released, then i had to need more money. 2 weeks ago, i almost buy a m4400 with quad CPU again !
but i didn't. you know why ? because video card FX1700 has been release !!! then i need again some money !!

i hope the next month, there is nothing else of new component on the m4400, else i will wait a long time to buy one !!!!

    Lucky i am ? yes because i don't care about blu-ray drive.

I got the 2.8 Ghz one. I'll do heat outputs ASAP, after I receive it of course. Hopefully a week from Friday (I'm getting quite excited :D )

I have a PCMCIA CF reader I would gladly test, but again I won't have my M4400 for another week and a half.
