I had to install the Dell Vista BT drivers to get the icon to show up.

Doubt they will be updating the design of the M4400 anytime soon since they launched it just last year and laptops for the business segment generally see less design refreshes than the consumer line. That said, I think the M4400 in person is quite a looker. It's hard to tell in pictures but it's just a very well built and solid feeling laptop in person. I dig the M6400 design as well and if it came in 15.4 package, I would reach for the upgrade button in a nanosecond. For the sake of my wallet, please don't do it Dell. :p

Is the lid strong enough? Pics make it look like rather weak and flexible...that scares me, if i decide to go for it, will it be strong enough to withstand daily use and being carried around?

    thanks

I take mine around with me very frequently between the office, home, book store, and coffee shop. Get a cushy bag to transport it and it'll be fine.

How can pictures make it look weak and flexible? If anything a curved surface is more rigid than a flat surface when trying to bend it in another direction as the curves it has.
The whole machine is vey solid

Sorry, I think I might have explained not correctly. What I meant is that the design looks like a hollow piece of plastic between the back of the LCD display and the curved design. And if it is not hollow, then it would make the laptop extremely heavy...sorry, but I've never laid my hands on one of them, so i can't say anything on the feel.

I don't have any light bleeding on my M4400 RGBLED screen.

It's none of them. There's simply an empty space. The lid can be pushed in a bit rather easy, but I have yet to hear of any damages caused by this.

    @ LPTP-LVR
    Hi,
I saw that you have got the same display as I have and I was wondering whether you have the 2 mp webcam built in. If you have it, could you perhaps give me the part number? You really would be my hero for that.
