    what was causing it to be uneven? what did you do to help it?

    Anyone tried the WHQL NVidia driver 185.85 for Windows 7 on their M4400?
    Available for x86 as well as x64, supports GeForce & Quadros.

    I remember that trying the latest aviable 185 driver got me into screen-flickering issues ...

    Doesn't Dell have propriety drivers for video cards? I've never gotten driver updates on my current Dell notebook from nvidia directly, always through Dell support.

    With the DELL drivers you wont get all settings in the Nvidia CP. That includes advanced color and powermizer settings...

    Once again though, aren't the Dell drivers the only ones that are going to work correctly with a Dell notebook display?

    With Windows 7, the choices are native Win 7 drivers (version 181.71) or WHQL NVidia drivers (version 185.85).
    Dell does not have drivers for Windows 7 yet.

    Shouldn't Vista drivers be compatible with 7 drivers?

    Thats my information, too.
    Vista Drivers should work with Win7
