Well I reformatted 4 times to strip down Vista perfectly, so I havent gotten a chance to game on anything besides UT2K4 (every settings maxed out). The computer is cold everywhere after 35-45 mins of gameplay, no fps drop and I have no keyboard lag and my headphones work real good. I also made sure I installed drivers in the correct order that a dell chat rep told me to.

Im gonna try to buy bioshock or crysis warhead soon but not sure if I'll have time to play them.

    Haven't myself yet.

@LPTP-LVR.....how are getting on with your screen issues? and the notebook otherwise ?....go on,give us a story:D

@Klamerek.....I use 4 different external 2.5" hard drives and haven't had a problem with any of them.

@jafoca.....I agree, buying the M15x is a risk,I did actually think about buying one,but am glad I saw the threads on this forum pointing out its many problems and bad support........nice idea [the M15X] pity it has been executed soo poorly, especially when its soo expensive, and the fact that AW talk thmselves up soo much about 100 point inspections and how their support is soo great.

Haven't done 10 hours of rendering, but have done half hour of FEA cosmosworks at 100% cpu,and than fan only stayed on low speed, the cpu runs really cool <50 deg C at max load on mine, but I only have a P8600.

I think you will be fine running the cpu 100% for 10 hours [even with the faster cpu's],its much better cooled than the graphics are.

i've done video compression work which taxes both cores of the P8600 to 100% for more than 6 hours in a row. fan comes on after about 5 mins, but CPU temp is pretty constant at 55 deg C

this is on an M2400 though, i presume M4400 would be better.
