Yeah i know...i hope the reason is all the extra care they will give the lappie ;) There does seem to be a large demand for it indeed and opting for the 1920x1200 screen pushes delivery back too.

    NP ElectricTool,not heavy at all.:)

Yes it is like an old radio, and according to support, there is no fix currently, and we'll have to wait until engineering releases another driver.:(

Congradulations,I'm sure you will like it....I wasn't aware the ccfl wuxga was a dual lamp.....you sure have some delay though,I'm interested in peoples opinions with the other screen types.

Looking forward to reading that Enduct.:)

For anybody's curiosity about the coolslice attachments,I asked dell support about them and got the following reply.

    Quote]

After doing some research, the only place I could find any mention of the CoolSliceTM is on the Dell US website for the Vostro 2510 and the Latitude E-series.

I couldn’t find anything regarding the CoolSliceTM on the Dell Australia website, which probably means that this peripheral is currently in the market-testing phase to gauge consumer reaction.

I would assume that should the CoolSliceTM technology sell well, it would most likely make it’s way into the Australia market.

Additionally; since it uses the docking port to attach and both the Latitude E-6400/E-6500’s docking port is similar to the Precision M4400’s docking port, I can see no reason why it should not become available for the Precision M4400 in the near future.

However, let me double-confirm with my senior level 2 first as the above are just my logical assumptions based on the information available to me J

I want one of these, hopefully they will be popular for the E6400 and be made for the 15.4" models also

    Fixed my audio Problem today:

(might not be the exact same term, got german winxp)
Start -> Run -> sndvol32 -> Extended Settings -> check the first checkbox (should say something like disable pc speakers)

Now my sound hass some bass via the headphone jack :)
(hmm, dell tech is coming tomorrow to replace my mainboard for this issue, should i let him :)

Nice. Someone would like to confirm this for Windows XP? :) I think grio is referring to this:

Open Volume Control Panel -> Options -> Advanced Controls

An extra button should pop up under Volume Control, called Advanced. After clicking that, there is an option at the bottom called PC Spk Mute to check.

As an aside, I've completed my M4400 review. Although the site's owners have not replied to me, I didn't feel like waiting another two days for them to wake up so I put it up anyway. It can be viewed here:
