Well I used a friend of the rep that I bought my alienware through (wish I spoke to the rep who sold me my alienware) and I told him "this is the specs I want and this is my maximum budget which started at $600, and I went up to $641 because I really need a new laptop asap and wanted the warranty which I did not factor in.

I used the link below to also help me get the priced reduce. Simply saying why should I order over the phone when it is cheaper online? Say things like... what can you offer me to make me want to purchase it? In my case it was a free sleeve and more then $100 discount because the link below can already give me that discount. Its for Canadians The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

Useful? Yes (unless you spend all your time in well lit locations). A must have? Not really.

It's quite cheap though so if you're not short on cash get it in my opinion.

Mine came with both backlit and finger scanner. I probably could live without the finger scanner but having the keyboard lit up at night is amazing. I wish my black widow keyboard had lights but instead I got the regular one without. Alienware FX is amazing too :D

18778735917 is the Dell.com sales number.

If you order two units over the phone you will be able to haggle for an even better price than me.

so far two problems found on my V131...

    1. The wireless connection is unstable, as the Dell Power Profile put the wireless adapter in a power saving mode. The solution is go inside the advance settigns and select the "max performance", then everything will be fine.

    2. The battery stop charging when the battery level reaches 72%-73%. The solution is "uninstall" the ACHI Battery Method in device manager, unplug the AC power, shutdown, wait for 5 minutes then Power up again, the ACHI battery method will be installed automatically and once the windows loaded, plug in the AC Power again then the battery can be charge to 100%!
