That is the lower resolution AUO screen, which I do not think is good.
    Part Number: B140XW01 V.9 (HW2A)(FW1)
    DP/N: GJ475

When stating what I like, I am referencing the 900p and 1080p screens only.

Specifically, I like the following panels for the following systems:

E6410: Samsung 1440x900 (excellent color and brightness)

E6420: AUO (hard to get) or Samsung 1600x900 (same likes as above)
[The LG panel is OK, but you can see the anti-glare "grid" finish, which I do not like]

E6520: AUO B156HW01 v.4 1920x1080 (best 15.6" non IPS screen in my opinion due to the great color gamut, contrast, and brightness)

I liked the one on E6410 as well -- I am not sure if it was Samsung make or not.

I will try to find AUO screen if I don't I will try finding the rest.

    Hi Scott
Can you verify what Dell P/N:WPT5F is? It seems to be another E6420 LCD back cover with the XJJFC LVDS cable.

    WPT5F | Dell Latitude E6420 14" LCD Back Cover Grade A

According to above link it seems to include even the LED indicator lights circuitboard as well. Is that the difference?

The indicator LED board is part of the cable.

Yes, it splits off the main cable that connects to the motherboard.

    Thanks robin.

What are your thoughts on the item though? May be there are more than one part# for the LCD back cover kit?

After looking, I believe the WPT5F is a very similar part, but it is not used on any current HDF+ systems. I will have to investigate it more...

The mini LED board for the E6x20 series LCD back cover is fed by the LVDS cable, but is NOT part of it. Specifically, the mini board part number is ND2PD and a pic of it is below.

Also, I will have an extra XJJFC cable only available tomorrow for $26 shipped if you or anyone else is still looking.

I am still looking for AUO screen and haven't found anything at a decent price. So, I am still deliberating.
