They are in fact modifying the database. The base price on E6400 hasn't changed, but you can get it in red or blue by now in the German online store, although only with the strange combination of legacy PC Card slot and dedicated graphics.

However, the price for the E4300 hasn't changed at Dell's Austrian store, so I'm sure it's a mistake. You can't order there from Germany, but it's a nice place to compare prices - they are a division of Dell Germany and the prices are the same for everything ;)

    sm1810,

A little curious myself as to what kind discounts dell are handing out - not sure whats it like elsewhere but here in ireland dell usually only offer free delivery for latitude notebooks which does'nt amount to much.

Understand if you don't want to reveal too much ;)

On another note anyone purchasing one of these might want to invest in a good quality notebook sleeve/envelope when carrying the e4300 around - it is so easy to scuff the notebook lid.

The 6 cell battery makes the e4300 to big for a 13" sleeve so you'll need a 14" at least.

Bought a crumpler 14" gimp pouch as thats all the laptop shop had but it might not be enough. The crumpler hard suit or something similar might be a better choice as believe me the lid on the e4300 does mark easily

what's the battery life on the E4300 w/the 6Cell? I still prefer the X200/E4200 form factor but hoping that the E4300 would be more usable. :/

It adds a little more than an inch. Hopefully my Shinza case will still fit it. 9.6 inch versus 9.2 inch - maybe will be able to squeeze it in.
