    Prince_Phoneix,

Does this mean you're going to take the e4300 plunge ?

It's already expected to be delivered mid next week. I don't see a point in not trying it out with the delivery date so soon. If it's terrible, I'll return it for a Sony Z.

How is the charger? Smaller than earlier latitude chargers? Anyone know the (size) difference on the 65vs90W euro charger?

So the E4300 still comes with the 90w adapter? Interesting.

I must say though, the new 90w adapter is smaller than the 65w adapter from my old XPS m140.

their is the 64W, 90W, and 64W slim (that one is the auto/air/ac adapter)

Those who have the latitude e4300, do you have any issues?

on a similar note, anyone here compared the 6400 to the 4300? I've ordered a 4300 fully spec'ed but shipping it 10/31 and it's killing me...

wondering if there's a huge difference between the two models (aside screen size diff) and if anyone debated which one to get :)

0.5kg in real world weight. Quite a big difference imo.

The 14" offers 1440*900, which is quite a big benefit to me.

So do you prefer portability or screen real estate?

    That's my problem.. I don't have a clear answer yet :(

I have a 30" 3008FWP + quad-core desktop at home...I have an outdated dell 12" laptop which runs super slow and I basically remote desktop to it and I have a macbook air which I'm passing to my g/f (replacing my 1 year old macbook). I like to sit in the patio and smoke cigars and work on my laptop :)

I don't travel extensively but love the form-factor of MBA.. would take it with me everywhere and occasionally do some light work. Since i'm fed up with mac os x and simplicity of mac products (saving rant for another day) I decided to get new windows laptop..

looked @ x200 originally as the x301 has UV processor albeit slow (but SSD could mitigate some of the speed). Then I got an amazing discount from dell on E4300 and placed an order (btw just emailed my rep for a quote on a E4200 too). My order with lenovo for x200 + 9cell battery was cancelled.. I tried a vaio FW (nice 16.4" wide screen very usable but not nice outdoors + size sucks) so i'm torn over what I want/need..

I guess for "real" work I'm using my 30" LCD/desktop... I need something to compliment that, have a relatively small form factor and budget is not an issue. And no, I woulnd't get a Z or ZZ I hate vaio products due to support...

    :)

PS I know the E4200 is even slower UV processor than x301 but i'm hoping with ultraperformance samsung SSD it would make up for it.. I use my laptop as I said for emails/browsing and accessing my extranet.. Nothing intensive but I like speed (hence why I hated MacbookAir when office took 30 seconds to load)

    * battery life update *

With wifi off and just CyberLink PowerDVD running got 3 hours and 48 minutes from a full charge playing both dvds of the Fellowship of the Ring extended edition and a couple of minutes of the Appendices before the notebook powered itself off.
