Latitude E-Series Anticipation Thread

Alright, trying to place yet another order today. We'll see how it goes, but it ought to be good.

 

Mine's basically the same, except with the P8600, 160GB 5400RPM HDD, webcam, and bluetooth. All for 1430 with the $260 SMB discount. CWolf has convinced me to place an order today, while that 5% EPP coupon's still good. We shall see what happens.. I'll have to place my order after classes.

 

how do i go about getting a 5% EPP coupon. I really would t finally jump into an e6400.

 

Using the discounts I have available at EPP, even with the base price not being $260 lower I'm still coming out ahead.

When did you place your order?

 

I ordered a e6400 yesterday after cancelling my m2400 order to save 170.00. My computer is already in the boxing stage. I spoke to a Dell rep and he estimates it to be delivered middle of next week.

 

The coupon is from Dell's Summer Instant Win Contest. You had to enter your email and your EPP member ID, and the consolation prize was a 5% coupon, which expires today. The contest ended August 29, but I'm sure there's a way to get that additional 5%.

Well, 1430 + 260 = 1690.
12% EPP discount: 1690*.88 = 1487.2
1487.2 > 1430, unless there's another discount I'm forgetting. I haven't been able to have any time to contact a rep, nor that Greg you PMed me, but I'll try that when I get the time. Thanks for referring that EPP rep to me Greg.

 

Wow, what's your configuration like? I would expect these to be done a bit earlier than the estimated date, but getting to the boxing stage a day after your order is pretty impressive.
