My 7470 wobbles (lower right palm rest) ever so slightly when the screen is opened between 90 and 120 degrees. Does anyone know how to fix this? Everything looks straight as it can be, there are no gaps anywhere, so I'm not sure what's causing this wobble.

Also, the base cover creaks very loudly at the fan exhaust. Not sure what's causing this either, I took off the base cover and it looks straight as well.

Is the base clipping into place properly? The manual refers to aligning tabs on the base with slots in the computer. If the lower right corner wobbles then the problem is at the top right or lower left (when viewed from above).

Both times yes. Apparently the base cover was warped. I called Dell and now I have a new base cover. Night and day difference.

Sorry precision certified. It does not matter if it is made by ALPS, but does it have a microsoft PTP driver? So can you control all the gestures from within the Windows 10 settings panel?
