    Hi everybody,

I just received my 7520, and I immediately install my Samsung 960 Pro (1T0), I could install windows but Samsung magician don't seem to recognize it ?? impossible to optimize it or upgrade its firmware.

Would anyone have had the same problem ?

    Many thanks.

Probably the storage access is set to RAID in the BIOS (Dell's usual default) while Samsung Magician probably wants AHCI. There is a way to change this setting while avoiding a BSOD or similar problem (as Windows will have the wrong storage driver). This might work, otherwise use your favourite search engine.

Exactly, raid option was selected, but i'm askind dell to don't use it on the original configuration. thank to them :)

I select AHCI, but now my laptop won't boot "innacessible boot device" does it necessary to reinstall windows ?

I tryed all methods but none works :(

You don't need to reinstall Windows. Some suggestions of methods to load the new driver into Windows are here, here and here. Also see here about the latest firmware for the 960 Pro.

If you are using Windows 10, switching from RAID to AHCI is easy.

    * With Windows booted, hold "Shift" key and select reboot from the Start menu. A menu will pop up, go to troubleshooting and find your way to startup settings. The system will then reboot.
    * Switch to AHCI in the BIOS.
    * When Windows starts you will now have a boot menu. Press the key for safe mode.
    * After booting safe mode once, reboot to normal mode.

    Hi
I just received my 7720 with quadro P4000. It came with Linux, as the company I work for has their own win10 Enterprise 64bit, which is installed now.

    Problems:
    1. Could not install intel gpu drivers.
Solution: in bios -> video ->switchable graphics -> checked "Enable Switchable Graphics". Not sure about the option next to it: "Discrete Graphics Controller Direct Output Mode"

    2. Could not install quadro P4000 drivers. Installation checks for system compatibility" it says: "Nvidia Installer cannot continue - The NVidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows".

I am using windows 10 Enterprise 64bit and have chosen that in dell drivers page, however the installer is named: "Video_Driver_X8D9Y_WN32_21.21.13.6981_A01_01.EXE", where WN32 indicates 32bit driver file.
I also tried the quadro drivers directly from Nvidia, but same error message.
