Pretty sure that this means the NVIDIA M-series is still DisplayPort 1.2 like the previous generation Precisions... NVIDIA P-series has been bumped to 1.4.

    Hi.....

is the UHD screen in 7520 is glossy or matte??

and does the "FHD IPS (1920x 1080) Panel 300nits Brightness w/Camera+Mic, Non-Touch" have the same color gamut (72%) as other FHD displays? The naming of this display is confusing.

Need to finalise between the FHD and UHD

All of the displays are matte unless you get a touch screen.

Sorry, I was a little bit busy and have to search for a hardware info tool.
CPU-Z said that Dell installed Micron Technology RAM, Part Number 16ATF2G64HZ-2G3B1.

Just wondering what are the differences between the 7520 and the 7510?

Have the 7510, but not that thrilled about it...

They are practically the same, except for refreshed (slightly faster) CPU and GPU options.

In 7520, is there any difference between the 2 following FHD models (other than the obvious presence of a camera on the 1st model)

    (1) "15.6" UltraSharp FHD IPS(1920x1080) Panel 300nits Brightness w/Camera+Mic, Non-touch" and
    (2) "15.6" UltraSharp™ FHD IPS(1920x1080)AG LED-backlit w/Prem Pan Grnt(72% color gamut) w/Mic, Non-touch".

The problem is, the sales rep I'm talking to says that the 1st model is NOT AG(anti-glare?), NOT Premium Panel Guaranteed, but HAS 100% gamut!

I want to go for the 1st model, any clarifications regarding its AG property, gamut, premium panel guarantee would be greatly useful!

I/m wondering whether the rep is looking at the sRGB gamut while the specs you yound are using AdobeRGB. The difference is about right. The Ultrasharp non-glare FHD panel in my Precision 5510 is 99% of sRGB / 79% of AdobeRGB. The UHD panel might be near 100% AdobeRGB.

Dell's info isn't consistent: The display specs here refer to FHD anti-glare as being 350 nit while the info here says 300 nits.

Are you using the online chat? Don't trust anything they say with regards to the finer details of the screen as final... They're pretty clueless, but feel like they have to offer up an answer, I guess. I would be very surprised if Dell is shipping a glossy, non-touch display in the 7520... That would be a first for the Precision.

(Case in point, earlier in the thread I asked a chat rep about the "thin bezel" 4K display that had popped up on the 7720, and the chat rep claimed that it was actually a different panel from the "regular" 4K display with a thin bezel... And later we found out from Dell-Mano_G that it was just the same as the regular 4K panel, listed as two different options in error.)

Not that I know where to get your answer, necessarily. I guess, call up a rep on the phone, and ask them to actually check into the details of the difference and get back to you.

@John Ratsey, Yes I saw those two links, the claimed brightness values are inconsistent. But I guess even a 300 nits display should be fine.
I'm worried about the glare and sRGB values.

@Aaron44126, I explained it to the same rep (who claimed the model 1 to be NOT AG(anti-glare?), NOT Premium Panel Guaranteed, but HAS 100% gamut) that the other FHD models are Premium Panel Guaranteed, have 72% sRGB gamut, have AG; therefore this model can't be so different from the rest.

Now he gets back to me in 20 minutes, claiming that he has spoken to tech team and just repeats whatever I said before - "The below mentioned panel is anti-glare. This gives 72% coverage on the color gamut. This is Premium panel and is covered."

Since the price difference from the other FHD model is $10 for the additional camera, I guess that it could be premium panel. But I'm not too sure and I don't want to get some glossy low gamut panel! :(
Should I play 'safe' and take the FHD without the camera? Or 'trust' the rep this time?

Has anyone who has has got 7520 with the "15.6" UltraSharp FHD IPS(1920x1080) Panel 300nits Brightness w/Camera+Mic, Non-touch" can offer some info?

@Dell-Mano_G , can you help with some info on this?
