The information that you got this time meets with my expectations. I didn't realize that one had a camera and one didn't, but that makes sense. I think that you are looking at the same panel, with a $10 charge for the webcam, which is the normal webcam price for these machine.

And would both the panels be having the same brightness (300nits)?

Again, I think you're looking at the same panel, the only difference is the webcam (which is separate from the display panel). So... yes, same brightness. They've been been given unfortunately descriptions, to make it confusing.

I'm not Dell though so don't take my word as fact.

Enquired with the sales rep once again and he assured me, after supposedly clarifying with the tech team, that both the FHD displays have the same specifications. Though he didnt tell me the brightness value (nits).

Has anyone had any luck ordering a 7520 with Radeon Pro WX cards? I had my order cancelled in Australia. I noticed options for the Radeons disappeared from Dell's US site as well.

Is there going to be a Precision 5520 Owners Thread? This thread seems to be pretty focused on the 7720. I'm looking for 5520 owners experiences before pulling the trigger.

What are the issues with the keyboard that people seem to have? I know its placement of a couple of keys but is the keyboard it self small? I read two seperate article where they said the keyboard on the 17 is the exact same keyboard that is used on the 15 inch precision (and xps) and also on the 13 inch laptops as well. Is there any truth to that? Or is everything full size?

Precision 7520 and 7720 have the same keyboard (it is also used in the Latitude line)... Precision 5520 has a different one, and it is the same as the one used in the XPS 15.

In comparison to the Precision M6400 keyboard I can say: Yes they are different, but both keyboards are excellent in usability.
The Precision M6400 keyboard is a little bit taler: 37 cm x 12.5 cm.
The Precision 7720 is 34.7 cm (35.5 cm) x 11 cm (11.7 cm) high (measuring the key-range, in parentheses the total keyboard plate).

The main difference is the distance from the front margin to the first key:
On the Precision M6400 the keyboard (space bar) begin at 11.5 cm,
on the Precision 7720 at 13.5 cm.

And the other main difference is an optical:
The Precision M6400 keyboard looks, for me, more luxuriously than the Precision 7720 keyboard (but it wasn't: look at my pictures in this thread: the keyboard from my M6400 loose its color after a few years).

And the main problem is in front of the laptop: My fingers are still searching for a dedicated home/pos 1 and end-key.

One other "problem" on the new keyboard from the Precision 7720:
The caps lock key have an state light (lock on or off)
The num lock key doesn't have this light - I miss it.
(The Precision M6400 keyboard have both state lights)

    Received my 7720 (e3-1535,32gb,1tb ssd 50class, fhd)
A bit disappointed by toshiba xg3 ssd instead of samsung sm961 as I was expecting.
Keyboard is worse comparing to m6800 (as expected) especially cursor keys and enter key which is almost twice thinner now!
Looking at FHD panel and its LG LGD0459. May be i'm getting used to it after m6800, but for some reason text doesn't look as sharp as on my old one and eyes got tired very quickly.
