Ah, that looks good! I have been looking at one on eBay (will post the link when i can dig it up xD). The seller claims its IPS, and a LG panel, and its around the price of the one you linked. Still from China though, which I'm not really a fan of, since shipping times. Anyhow, waiting for confirmation that they will ship only the specified panel...

Yes, I bought this screen LP125WH2 SP M1
    IMG_7007.JPG
https://aliexpress.com/item/LP125WH...CD-Display-Matrix-f-r-Laptop/32861050849.html and it arrived within 10 days. I bought it for the better viewing angles and improved screen colours. The seller reassured that it would be the WXGA, matte, IPS version (SP-M1, as desired) and even reaffirmed it after the purchase with a series of questions (which was a bit confusing - also asked me about the old screen). My old screen was the typical HB125WX1 that had a (repaired) water damage, so I just sent them a picture of the empty back panel. You will notice the stain of the water damage on the inside of the back panel.

Since both my other 14" Latitudes have IPS panels, I just had to upgrade from this water-damaged, pale TN. And the difference is amazing and as desired. Well worth the investment.

The new screen with better colours. Still some typical IPS light bleeding on the lower right corner (only visible with black backgrounds), but I suspect it is due to the adhesive tape that I stuck on the display bezel. That's ok with me and the colours are just so much more vivid than the pale show on the old TN panel. Also, the new screen fits without any modifications.

imo a good keyboard and a decent screen are the most important interfaces on a notebook/laptop, so this upgrade really made sense to me + with a water damaged TN screen, it only came down to available parts and where to get them. On panellook this particular screen is listed as "out of stock", but this dealer still seems to have 48 pieces .

Thanks, jke, I have ordered it in accord to your recommendation. It costs 13$ more then from another seller, but I accept it as a costs of reliability.

Today I recieved that IPS from Aliexpres for e7240 you have recommended above and I can say, I m very satisfied. Viewing angles are almost perfect, colours are more deep, (and black is really black). Almost can´t believe this is my old laptop :). It is sad, that this was not standard for latitude line.
Display was perfectly packed, in the polystyrene box, thus I can recommended that seller. Just hope, it will work so nicely for long time.

So glad it also works for you! I also have two E7440 (the 14" version) with the original 1920x1080 IPS screen, and both aren't as bright as this IPS on the E7240.

I noticed, that brightness is much lower compared to that old TN panel as well as compared to LCD from my second laptop. I´m not sure if it was that dark from the first moment or if it gets just worse during the time I´m using it. Do you have any toughts on this issue?
