Ok so I would really like to get the E6500, but I think it might be a bit close to my desired buy time, does anyone think it could be delayed in any way or if it will be out in time to easily buy by early July. Also, does anyone have any rough estimate what they might cost, I dont want to get my hopes up and find out its like 2 grand, i dont want to pay more then 1600 1700. Thanks

I would expect them to come in at a similar price point to the m1330 and m1550. I am praying for no delays. I need this thing in my hands by early july. I hope dell is able to ship them out fast.

I'd love one of those new Dell Latitudes too. I just can't decide between the E6400 or the E4300. I really hope that by the end of this year, SSD options won't be so expensive...

I hope the E4200 and E4300 will come with matte screens. I'm sick of the glare on glossy notebook screens.

I'm going with the E6400 since the E4s come out in September instead of june. I'm assuming they will all have matte screen options. They are latitudes after all.

And now here are specs and a photo of the 14.1 inch Latitude E6400 ATG, a semi-rugged, dust-shock-spill-proof and altitude and vibration resistant laptop with either a touchscreen or an extra-bright display, and GPS, UWB, DisplayPort and other features of the regular E6400:

According to the roadmap, deliveries are expected to start in June, and it looks like it will replace the semi-rugged D630 ATG and the fully-rugged XFR D630.

No, it will replace the D630 ATG but will not replace the XFR ;)

I realize that that is what Engadget says, but the roadmap suggests otherwise.
