According to my reading of the various specs charts posted by Engadget, only the Latitude E5500 and E5500a will have a TrueLife option, and then only with the WXGA+ resolution.

He didn't say noone likes glossy screens. He said he's sick of them... and I agree with that!

XFR is a new design for Dell. I believe, if it is successful, that it will have its replacement at the end of 2008, with a new Montevina platform probably...

Well bully for you. If I liked looking at reflections I would park myself in front of a real, bona fide mirror instead of a display that's trying its hardest to distract me and tire my eyes.

CRT monitors didn't develop expensive glare coatings for no reason. I suspect we'll see a similar swing soon, once the market gets tired of shiny displays that glare like crazy in anything except a dark basement.

    *gets off soapbox*

Does anyone know what kind of discreet NVIDIA graphics this thing will have?

I guess no nVidia Graphics at all. All Latitudes were built for business not for games.

No, the current Latitudes have the Business dedicated Nvidia cards, made for CAD work, but work just like the consumer lines, and it says in the spes for the E6500 that it will have dedicated graphics.
