OK stupid question for most of y'all I am sure.....What is going to be the main difference between the old E 15.4's and the New ones? I am debating on ordering one now or waiting. I am in no hurry for one, just want one soon! Thanks

I hope they give the 14.1" model a good graphics card and two well placed speakers as opposed to the one awful one that the D630 has.

What old E 15.4's. The current Lattitude series is D. If the leaked pics are accurate the new Lattitudes are completely different design wise.

Supposed to be new Centrino 2 based systems. Longer battery life and all the new gizmo's, from the new Intel platform. Some may have a new display connection technology that Dell is backing as well.

That's an impressive looking machine. Any specs on the replacement for the D630 yet? If it can match or exceed the performance of the Lenovo T61P I might just have to wait until it comes out to buy a new notebook.

Day 1 purchase for me. :D

I just hope they will have a tru-life option as I love the glossy screen. If not it's still a day 1 purchase. :D

    Integrated graphics - bleh.

I hope Dell allow options. Seeing the LG P300 have a nice graphics card in a 13.3 form factor left me a little dissapointed at the announced specs.

Ok, I have two questions. For one, what do you guys think will be the price for the E6500 or E5500, for a decent setup. Also, I want to buy no later then mid July or like one week before August, do you think they will be released and able to buy by then, thanks.

Yes, in the USA anyway. According to the roadmap, they will be released in June:

They might be later in other countries.
