I got a Scratch & Dent XPS M1330 and it came flawless, just a few oily fingerprints, but it was also $100 cheaper than the next better configuration.

Wow that's awesome on how much you can save! So coupons can apply, that's great too! How can you buy a longer warranty? I would like to get some warranty to compensate for savings, so that I feel confident that if I run into a problem they will not refuse to help me with it. :)

You can add warranty and accessories after selecting the system.

Latitudes come with 3 year warranty and mail-in service. Seems good enough to me but you can choose a better one if you so wish.

In the google search bar, type in Dell Outlet coupons and you'll see what coupons are available and what systems in Outlet they'll work on. The coupon codes are different than what you see on this site for new systems.

Wow! Is that discount already applied to the Outlet pricing or is it on top of the already low prices they have there? If it's a coupon where do I get the code from? :)

Thanks Swingman, I did one up past the adding to cart stage so I saw how that works now, AWESOME! Thank you! LOL! :D I am looking at the Inspiron 1318 and the Vostro 1310. Not sure which I'll go with but the Inspiron is good but so is the Vostro specs for about a hundred or so less. Decisions decisions....

Yes, the discount would be on top of the already low price of the outlet. I got it in an email at work, looks like it only covers Latitudes or tablet PCs. I'm burning down to get a new e6400 myself, but my wife racked up some bills this past year, and the bills come first. :( . Here's the code for anyone interested: D0?LX5KG8F53FX

just got my M6400, with the 15% off coupon my order ended up being under 2200 with the complete care. The specs are in my sig, a similar configured new one was well over 4k.

I've purchased a Latitude D600 and an Inspiron E1505, both as Certified Refurbished. The Inspiron had some dirt that was easily wiped away, but was otherwise flawless. The Latitude was perfect. I've just ordered a Precision M4400 from the outlet, also Certified Refurbished, I'll let you know once it arrives, but I expect it to also be in quite good condition.

As far as the warranty goes, the Latitudes come with a standard 3 year warranty. The upgrade to ProSupport might be worth it to you, might not - so far as I can tell, all it really does is lets you bypass the first-level support techs and basic troubleshooting steps.
