I just went to Dell's support website, entered my Service Tag and then (on the left side of the screen) went to Technical Support-->System Configuration. There may be an easier way, but that gives you the info needed.

It should be posted there. Let me know what your screen is...I'm sort of interested seeming I have the same as him.

I'm with you...I'd like to figure out a different driver possibility.

Are all fonts really crisp? Just posting on this forum now, things look really blurry. I expect to be replacing the CMO for the AUO within the week.

Have you updated any contrast settings at all? I would be interested if people adjusted the contrast/RGB/delta settings at all. I really don't think it's an NVIDIA issue, but rather a hardware issue

I received mine a week or so ago.
At first, i was kind of annoyed with the laggy vista aero, so i switched back to XP.
However, on sunday, i decided to do a dual boot and slowly get used to vista.
But WOW. This computer is AMAZING on vista now. Much faster than the first time that I installed vista (and i did a clean install then also). I didn't go back to XP yet, and am going to remove the XP partition soon, because i am enjoying vista so much more.

I think it is because of the updated drivers from laptopvideo2go. My base score is 3.7, which is better than then the one that I got with Dell's drivers.
    I'm using these drivers:

Just follow the directions given to update.
Also, the only drivers that i installed from Dell are the network ones - for both wired ethernet and the intel wireless.

Can you check your service tag and pull up which screen you have?

Did you do any screen tweaks?

I installed those drivers and my base graphics score is still 3.2

Would a clean install really up that score by .5...?

I just received my D630. It is much thinner than I thought it would be. Hmmm... Not much else to write about it at this time.

Cobalic: The easiest way to check which screen you have is to pull up your service tag on dell.com and check that way. Otherwise, there is a program you can download to pull up the info.
