Well, that's really a shame. I guess hp has also problems with its dreamcolor display. The preconfigured models of 8730w don't have this panel and the configurator isn't available till now ("No models are currently available for purchase.").

Is there a possibility to upgrade afterwards - from CCFL to LED?

I heard from my rep today that there is global shortage of Nvidia FX 3700M 1GB. Together with RGB LED that I've ordered, I am very curious and some disappointed when actually I can have the machine in my hands~

If you own an M4400 or M6400 it would be helpful to know your opinion on heat, fan noise, and battery life.

Also, Sager claims their new 15.4" is the fastest.

Anyone know of M4400, M6400, W700, and 8730W benchmarks? Do any of these come with 2GB/4GB Turbo Memory?

    Thanks.

I am so tired of this. What the heck are those people there for. Ive asked about 10 questions to them in the past 2 weeks and they have NO ANSWERS for any of them, nor can they "go find out" any answers. WHAT is the POINT? What in the world DO they have answers to??

I just received a dock for the M6400. The included power supply appears that it should be the same as the one supplied with the laptop.

    Model: DA210PE1-00
    DELL P/N: D846D
    Size: 3.95" x 7.83" x 1.8"
Weight: 2.6 lbs (near the lower limit of my shipping scale, so may not be accurate).

    Other items of note:
    - No fan
    - No Vents. Sealed power supply.
    - 210W : 19.5VDC @ 10.8A, Center Positive
    - Standard C14 IEC socket for a C13 IEC power cord
