Yes, I just added two of these to the original 1+1Gb configuration.
The kingston part is "certified for Dell", so you can go with confidence.

Sorry to get off subject here but how do you set AHCI to compatibility mode in BIOS? I have no idea, it's something I read on another forum here in my search to erase a SSD. It's lots more complicated than just a format or overwrite, both of which are bad for the drive and won't accomplish what I'm trying to do.___

"DELL UltraSharp 3008WFP 30-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand."

Does anyone know how to adjust the height?

Can't believe I have to ask someone this! But I've tried everything.

    Thanks.

I dont recall exactly where it is on the BIOS, but check the SATA section (these are SATA mode). There should be an area on the right with 4 options/modes (I think). The default (and last one) is RAID, the one above is AHCI, then above is ATA (I think) and I dont recall what is the last one.

    hope this help.

PS: Gulf, you were asking me questions (on the old thread) about my SSD (torqX 128Gb), well it died on me a couple weeks ago. I am still waiting for my replacement...

I think you may have bad memory. The same thing (blinking caps lock) happens to me a couple weeks ago when I bought two 2Gb 7/7/7/20 from Patriot. It turn out one was bad. I would suggest you try them one at a time until you figure out which one(s) are bad. If one is bad, the laptop wont boot at all.

I agree it has a lever type look to it but I can't move the monitor up or down by 'just pushing up/down'. There some sort of technique to it.

    Too expensive to force/break it...

Is it sure that the new precision m6500 has sli based off the new gtx 260 or 280? Or something similar to that, i think it is time for that. I am pretty sure the graphic designers want sli 2 gig cards wouldn't be amazing!
