Thanks a lot for your answer!
I'm sorry, but are there working only idiots, or what? They are telling me, things they aren't right. When i don't had the time too search in forums like them, i buy this book, and than i ask me why the book has only 2h of battery-life...

I don't know if this was covered but, maybe you can help.

I am building an image with a Vertex3 6Gb/s drive, I have followed all guides for proper setup. Benchmarks look strong in ATTO at around 500MB/s but WEI is showing 5.9.

I have never had this issue before with SSD. I know these numbers don't mean much but to the end user it will. Any ideas?

M4600 and AMD Graphics Card -

does anyone know how to turn ON the AMD graphics card? From what little I've seen on the machine, it's not even clear to me that the card is being used. What I am seeing is a lot of aliasing and poor video when playing back a DVD disk, and it looks as though only the Intel chip is being used for the rendering.

I did download a utility from AMD that is supposed to show graphics card memory usage, and that utility shows essentially no (well, 36MB) memory usage.

?? the AMD card is turned ON when you switch on the laptop. There is no way to turn it off. Intel chip is kicked aside and won't work at all.

Interesting. Any ideas on how to ascertain that the AMD card is operating? The utility from AMD suggests the card is NOT working...

Or, alternatively, any ideas on how could I request the Intel chip to handle the video render - and measure usage?

Just saw your another post in the review thread which is more complete, have replied that.

Intel graphic card is completely disabled and no way to enable it unless you change the AMD graphic card to NVIDIA.
