The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

As has been shown on more than one occasion on these NBR pages, the company reps you get via chat or even on the phone do *not* _always_ know everything. They sometimes make mistakes. So, it's good to have the nice people lurking in NBR to offer some corrective comments. :)

If I can be of any assistance to anyone, I'm a registered Dell reseller & usually get much better pricing than what is available through Dell's site.

Email me if I can help anyone.

The Pro Support supports accidental damage right?
Dell - Help Me Choose: Warranty and Services
So there is no need to get the accidental damage. Just weird that they have that option there.
