    I still want one.
Yea, today I'll talk to them and they better give me an option for this especially for the 9 cell battery.

dont forget to ask for a discount, when i bought my M4400, initially i wanted to get minimum ram/hdd and self upgrade, but good thing i configured one with everything i wanted just for the sake of comparing later how much i would have saved, because the rep gave me such a big discount, it ended up only slightly more than doing it myself. which i thought was well worth the convenience and added protection of everything being covered by the dell onsite warranty

Hi guys, I just got an M4600 and also bought one of these for it:

Based on another post in this thread, it seems that this fits into the slot marked "WWAN" in the base of my 4600, is that correct?

    Thank you!

are you able to use a USB-to-Parrallel port adapter instead of using your Express card slot?

I'm thinking about either getting the Dell M4600 or a Lenovo t520.

Does the M4600 support Intel WiDi (wireless display )?

Hi, just wanted to research a couple of things as I understand it the M4600 is capable of the following storage options.

2.5" HDD configured either as SSD or HDD
    mSata option minus WWLAN
additional 2.5" HDD by drive bay adaptor

Is RAID also configurable by the owner?

Switching from 32bit to 64bit W7 can be done including the recovery partition setup to support the version you have on the machine?

    Thanks

mSATA can support a mSSD., the adaptors for the drive bay are from third-party vendors and can only take 1.8" based on rumors, but the main drive can be either a SSD or a HDD and yes RAID is configurable by the user at any time.

Also the system doesn't come with a recovery partition, a recovery DVD is included with your order and if it only comes in 32-Bit, you can call up Dell and request a free 64-Bit DVD as well if you need it.
