    Maybe you are right.

Will be interesting to see the response from dell.

How about you guys include your specs,OS etc in your sig or post's,as its quite nice to see whats being compared or talked about.;) huge variation in model TDP with different spec M4400 also.

Hi all, Does the M4400 support DisplayPort to Dual DVI Adapters like the new MacBook Pro? It would be so nice to be able to use my 2, 24 inch Dell monitors with my hopefully soon to be purchased M4400.

I don't know, to be honest I didn't know that adapter existed.

I hope so, unless you are mistaking Dual DVI for DVI-D(Dual link).

I thought apple were making a mini displayport to dual link dvi adaptor.....eg.for running one 2560x #### screen, not two screens?

I think you may need to buy a dock to do dual digital outputs for 2 x 24",otherwise 1 x VGA and 1 X displayport/dvi adaptor without the dock.

This thread may be of some benefit.

There's a new review of the M4400 over at the German version of Notebookcheck.com. (Google Translate seems to do a semi-decent job on the translation, by the way.)

Now bring on that RGB LED!

Edit: Google Translate seems to give up translating the page beginning in the section "Power Games". Rather strange...

Yah I guess I have mistaken Apple seems to have a dual link dvi cable, not dual dvi. I guess dual monitor is coming in the next revision of display port. After reading about display port I am not really sure what the advantage is over the other formats. Seems like both setups needs adapters and at the moment display port adapters are expensive.

"With a value of 0.47 cd/m ² the LED WXGA+ display can achieve a outstanding maximum contrast of 651:1.

    ...

Dell Precision M4400 with Quadro FX 770M diagram can achieve in the OpenGL Shading test outstanding 6180 points here, and is thereby on a level as for instance the Precision M6300 with Quadro FX 3600M diagram. The Geforce 9600M GT in the Acer Aspire 5930G, designed for Gaming, brings here only 2711 points, thus less than the half performance only due to the driver optimization."

And that shows why Quadro kicks CAD-a**!
