    I got a replacement after it lost about 35%. It's up to you to tell them it's not acceptable and ask for a new one.

    Awesome - thanks for the info.

    I've sent a request via the email support page to replace the battery. They have not replied in the time they promised which is a little disappointing (why send an email promising support in a certain time frame if you can't follow it up?) but at least this way I have a documented record of the complaint inside the warranty period.

    lenovo and hp shows the new w510 and 8540w , dell...nothing..

    the hp promise very good things...

    Yeah the other business machines from Lenovo and hp are getting very interesting dell needs to step up to the plate here killing me here with what their bringing out.

    At a guess, because of the delay between the M6500 and the smaller models, I would say similar, if not the same options as the HP.graphics and cpu upgrade, screen downgrade.
