I´m just curiious, who of you is still running m4400 in daily ruttine? I´m just (very pleasently) surprised, how my 10 years old machine runs quick and smooth. Last 7 years I use it almost every day for entertainment as well as for my analytical work. From the moment I have tuned it on max level, here is still no reason to buy a new 15´´ laptop. Do I have just luck for getting a good piece or is it because of dell mastered this model up?

Still going strong over here too. It's made a few transitions as my work computer, then to my oldest daughters computer and now it's my youngest daughter's computer! Added some RAM and an SSD drive and recently had to get a new battery.

It depends on other factors like CPU, RAM, HDD/SDD... Reasonable price for this machine is 40-150$, it depends on its hardware.

Yes, but probably no seller will accept your 60$ offer for m4400 if its well tuned. To answer your question, 60$ is very generous offer for m4400 without Ram, CPU and HDD. On the other hand, I supposed none will accept it for precision with T9900, 4GB Ram and 256GB SSD.

If it has fx 770m or fx 1700m makes no difference, those cards have almost identical performance (but 1700M has much higher TDP, thus I prefer 770m).

But that RGBled display is hiden gem stone. Worth of keep trying to get this machine.
