    I got this laptop today with the docking station, does anyone know if it is possible to connect two dvi lcd's to the docking station and be able to use all three screens symultaniously? Laptop screen - LCD1 - LCD2

    Newest drivers from LaptopVideo2Go is 185.20, and they fixed the issue of GPU speed. At idle, it runs at 170 core / 100 mem. I'll test tonight in class to see how it affects battery life.

    Heck, thats warmer than my quad core m4400.
    At the temperatures you posted, are the fans running on slow or is that just before the fan kicks in?

    no. no fans at all. in fact they almost never kick in for me. only time they do is when i am transcoding videos for my iphone ... other than that, i don't play games nor do my CPUs go anywhere near 100%.

    I'd just want to throw out that the M2400 can support the X9100 CPU without any issues. Temps run 40-45C during idle w/ AS5 thermal paste.
    I've tried popping in a Q9000 CPU, but the notebook won't post. :eek:
