I think you should buy an OS that you will need for the applications you will run. Likely if you buy newer software versions you'll take better advantage of the newer features with Win10. I use Win10 Pro on all my machines now, and despite the small gripes it's overall very good.

I am using Windows 7 from last 3 years and never found any single problem or bug.

Is there any need of new version when you have already a robust version ?

Well, my M6300 (from about 2003 - 2004 or so) still runs WinXP SP3 with no problems. That doesn't mean I'll put it in my 7510. Looking forward however, I don't mind updating. Also it may be better for newer DX12 titles, AutoDesk for example has moved some of their software to Direct X.

Owners of the version with the Xeon e5-1535M v5 ... can you please comment on the temperatures that it reachs under very high load (stressing the CPU with prime95, cpuburn or something like that).

For how long is it able to run without throttling the cpu frequency?

I would be very interested in this also.

Chating with a dell representative he made the incredile claim that it can sustain turbo under full cpu load.

    Call me a skeptic.

Don't know about the Xeon in the 7510, but I'm not surprised at this claim, the Precisions have pretty beefy cooling. I have a M6700/3820QM and M4800/4810MQ and both can sustain full turbo indefinitely, CPU temperature hanging out in the mid 80's. This has been reported for the "extreme" versions of the CPUs in these generations as well (39xx/49xx).

They make this claim in their product release videos as well. In my month or so of owning my machine (i7-6820) I find it to be true, though it's not the Xeon. The machine does run way quieter than my M6500
