has anyone re-installed OS on pci-e? I got the 512gb pci-e pro but when I try to boot from flash and install windows home (dont care for pro). it gives me 2 errors: mouse not recognized (wireless logitech, but i can try wired i guess) and that there are no drivers for the pci-e ssd, so I can't see it...

With Windows 7, you have some issues doing a clean install. Windows 7 does not include a USB 3.0 driver so you cannot use USB mouse and etc (until you install USB 3.0 drivers, after Windows is loaded). And Windows 7 does not include NVMe drivers, so you will have to load one before you can see your disk.

As for wide-view, I would say its just a typical IPS panel with very good viewing angles. Up to about 20 degrees it's perfect ... At about 30 degrees the opposite side of the screen starts to dim slightly and as you go farther that dimness moves across the screen. It's mentioned by other folks in this thread as well.

But you can still see what's on the screen all the way to pretty well side-ways. Actually I can still read the text in my post here at 70 degrees off-axis.

I have several laptops w/ anti-glare IPS screens and they all act the same.

    Thanks for the input :)

Newb question, how much of a performance difference will I see between the 2400Mhz and the 2133Mhz versions of the Kingston Technology HyperX Impact? At the end of the day I think I will want 16GB of RAM. If I go for the 2400Mhz version, aside from spending more, I will have 1 stick of 2133Mhz that I will have to figure out what to do with.

You will not notice any performance difference (except when running benchmarks)

New screen (AU B156HAN01.2) has "burn in" issue... if a static image is displayed for a long time, you can still see it for a while after you go to something different. Not worth $90 for a screen with this issue, I will be returning it for a different model.

On the fingerprint reader, Dell has decided to replace the system board.

You don't have a lot of luck lately......

Hopefully everything will be solved soon for you....

I also took the risk and ordered a Dell 7510 with 15.6" UltraSharp FHD IPS (1920x1080) display...

    Lets pray....
