    I have been given dates of November 17 for the P50 and December 1 for the P70 from Lenovo small/medium business reps.
    P70 is certainly tempting - 2 M2 PCIe NVMe 3.0 X 4 slots (as in the 7710) - 2 - 2.5" 7mm high hard drive bays (Samsung Evo 850 2TB will fit) and could be RAID 0'd into a massive 4TB drive (I deal with 4K video files), 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, Expresscard slot.

    Their screen can't be as good as the Dell IGZO screens or are they using those too?

    Thanks for the info, I think I am going to contact someone from Lenovo as well. If its Dec 1 for the P70 that will eliminate that workstation/notebook form a Christmas Delivery for me I assume.

    Most recent guesstimate by Nov 5 and if the 2 week turnaround holds then you should have it by Christmas (I too am looking (hoping)for pre-Christmas delivery date.

    I have not tested this so I'm not sure if it will work or not. It should work is my best guess.

    Not at this time but you never know what comes later. :)

    They should be able to provide power with the system off. With the system turned on you will get an error message.
