    The M5170M shipped with the ZBook G2 so it's not a new architecture. Not sure what the W7170M is, could be a tweaked design since AMD do have a newer mobile RX-3XX lineup going on.

    I saw the mobile Maxwell press release in the morning. Pretty sure suppliers/vendors have gotten their hands on these for awhile or else they couldn't test and spec out each machine. The low-end of this generation isn't terrible, all GDDR5 memory at least.

    1536 Unified shaders. 1051Mhz GPU clock. Looks like a Maxwell based Quadro with specs close to a 980M. That should mean a large step up in performance per watt.

    Needless to say I'm eager to see how the W7170M performs. It's been a while since the last 100W FirePro (M8900, optional for M6600, quite some time indeed).
