    revit has improved rendering considering my previous xps1210 :), what used to take 2hrs in render time is now about 20min :) so yah major improvement.

    could someone upload some images of the touchpad when lit up? I am not sure i get the functionality of this light stuff?

    I am considering to buy one of these monsters :D

    I agree with those who see the purpose of the m6500 as being very fast and bulletproof. It takes a lot of cpu/gpu load to even warm up the chassis and get the fans going. The heat is only noticible at the back of the machine around the docking connector. When the fans kick in they are quieter than the m6300 or xps 1730, yet they move a lot more air. The heat sinks are massive pieces of copper. The fans are larger in size and can evacuate heat quickly.

    I would be surprised as hell if someone can make this thing throttle down. This is not a "heat under typical load blah blah blah" kind of machine. It is a "throw whatever you want at it" machine. It seems to be well thought out and capable of many years of stable performance.

    Btw, h.264 high def encoding time on a video i was working on was 5:54 minutes on the m6300 and 1:18 on the m6500. Thats around 4.5 times faster

    what would you like to know? i have the entire tech packet dell gives to its technicians regarding m6500 or any other system.

    What is the sensor to the immediate left of the webcam? Not the two mics, the little white one.
