Lenovo just released the W510 which has 2 usb 3.0 and I realise their i7 820QM is 1.73GHz 1066MHz 8MBL3 and i7 920XM is 2GHz 1333MHz 8MBL3. However I check the intel official website both of them's DDR3 Speed are 1333/1066 MHz. So what about cpu for M6500?

The i7-920XM CPU is an Extreme Edition processor which allows for the use of the 1600MHz memory. The other 2 CPU's do not have this feature enable by Intel. (The processors "could" do it but Intel did not enable that feature in them.) By the way, the M6500 does not support overclocking on the i7-920XM CPU.

I see a future of returns for those that needed to OC the i7-920XM on the M6500. :p I should be ok as I do not need to OC the machine as it needs to be rock solid and working 100%.

That is the exact reason why Precision does not allow overclocking on the 920XM. The M6500 is created to be a mobile workstation and has to be rock solid and stable. This has been true with all Precision notebooks that have had Extreme Edition CPU's, no overclocking allowed. The consumer and gaming boxes are the only ones in Dell that allow overclocking.

I agree. I'm paying big bucks for a stable machine and I also need it to be fully supported and covered under warranty. Not going to mess with trying to improve via overclocking on a already great performing laptop.
