Wow! Have you got a listing (maybe a directory listing) of the available web pages so we can type in the desired url? (e.g. ....\Camera\Camera.htm)

Thanks anyway for this invaluable info.

EDIT: I saw the downloadable file, after posting this... Thanks

I guess that maybe is a LED to show that the webcam is on or a luminance or even an auto-focus sensor for the webcam. I couldn't imagine any other use of it.

Does anyone of the owners "played" somehow with it (e.g. cover it with the fingertip to see if the webcam image changes)?

I brought the hard drive that came with it and the software disks homw today. I never even booted the factory disk, just swapped in a 7.2k 500gb and installed W7 enterprise.

I will check to see how the cam software works.

    1 317-3295 8.0GB, DDR3-1600 SDRAM, 2 DIMM for Dell Mobile Precision

This is on my order receipt not just online.

So do you think I have 2 or 4 dimms?

This sounds like an incredibly useful feature. My Precision ON button on the M6500 doesn't seem to do anything - so I assume I am missing the thin client hardware. Don't recall it as an option during configuration though...
