The worst part is that I ordered mine without a coupon. I guess it's going back unless they offer me a replacement in timely manner.

REPLACEMENT!! Blasphemy.. I tried and tried.. I told them I want to keep the Covet (the most expensive out of the 3).. but I won't keep the one they send me as it was a POS with problems and crashes.. and I didn't ask for a new, I was okay with a refurb replaced with a refurb.. No DICE.. In hindsight, glad I returned this.. but as things stand right now, I will return this in a blink of an eye if the service personnel:
    a) either doesn't show up by Friday (so much for next day onsite)
    b) can't fix the issue.

I'll be a guy without a decent laptop but a whole lot of cash for another one.. LOL

If you can call through and connect via EPP you can get some great deals not available on the web site. A colleague of mine claimed 38% off MSRP.. YMMV

    Anodize,
If you really need a M6500 right now you might better just grab one. The reason I say is that I have only seen the Precisions have a coupon around once or twice a year max. It's very rare for them to be discounted so it might not be feasible to wait for one. I shop exclusively from the outlet and it has been great so far. I know that you can get a return for the DOA and snatch another system. Honestly, the Dell outlet is about as good as it gets as far as I have found, personally. I have dealt with HP and Lenovo as well. The HP outlet website is more expensive than the Dell prices and Lenovo is more expensive than HP. Hope that you can get a good deal. The orange covet systems are sweet. Just be advised that the covet has a glossy screen. :(
