Great idea, no I have not, since I only have 1 monitor (desktop). Also it's really inconvenient to connect the laptop to my only monitor hoping the issue will present itself. IMO, it was better to confirm the issue was as a result of a malfunctioning laptop vs. anything else.

I called Dell customer support, it was really funny, I had an unexpected opportunity to speak to Vern (not really his name, but.....) If anyone asks I'll explain. :D

The cat in the video is my Avatar. She was shaved late summer so I'm assuming she is peeved, since it's so cold now! :D

Maybe this was answered here somewhere in 500+ pages but I couldn't find it ... so I'm just about to get the M6500 Covet with RGBLED E2E screen. I was wondering, is there any chance to remove this annoying glass and put the plastic bezel around the screen? Because on some forums I have read that under the glass is the same screen as on Antiglare screen models ... Because I hate to watch my own face in dark scenes on the screen ...

Have you used one yet? If you are looking at it front-on.. you really shouldn't be seeing your reflection of the bezel .. it's the glass you should be worried about in dark scenes with the slightest of lights on you..

Yes, I see myself on the screen when the scene is dark and when I have some light on me ... By bezel I meant to remove glass of this E2E screen and put the plastics bezel on, if this is possible ...

Oh! I suppose you want the Covet chassis + the anit-glare properties of the display..

Hmm.. I was thinking of the same - the other way around.. Have a silver M6500 and replace the chassis with a Covet.. (dropped the idea after I realized, I would need a whole barebone Covet and not just few panels here and there)..

Try calling Dell Tech support and see if they can route to get your questions answered..

The M7820 is the cheapest GPU offered on the M6500 (yet performs better then the 2800m), so starting at base adding the processor/ram/RGB LED and you get to around $2200~ total. Add perhaps a 25% coupon, and you can push it to $1650-$1680.

Also outlet+coupon can get it even lower.

Outlet+coupon.. I only got it recently.. so prices are probably not what they used to be. (M7820 > FX3800M in gaming as far I could test).. but I've already had the display and mobo replaced due to separate issues.. Dell Customer Service FTW.. :)
