    I think the Precisions have always been above the XPS machines?

    Agreed, "the Precisions have always been above the XPS machines." Emphasis added and note the past tense of the word, "have". My fear is that this new generation of Precisions won't be much better than the current XPS series. The build quality may not be the differentiator it once was.

    I agree WLT. Personally, I need the quadro card since my focus is on CAD applications and graphics which pretty much necessitates I get the Precision.
