Ah, I wasn't considering if the memory was available 3rd party. Your decision makes sense. Everything is so new on these systems... the CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD. I'm waiting too, probably wait until after January.

There is a difference between Premium and Pro support, although I can't say what they are exactly. But my one interaction with the lesser "Premium" support tech rep on a brand new inspiron about the display or the connection between display and mobo not working.

It was a bit of a run-around and I felt I was on the defense quite a bit "Did you drop it?" Was I drinking any liquids around it when it died, type of questions. They did come out and replace it though, just was nervous at first.

With Pro Support + Accidental.... it is NO question if they will fix it. Really. I've had alot of Pro support NBD repairs and never was a moment of nervous "will they fix it?". So in my opinion, yes there is a difference, but not sure EXACTLY what the difference is other than peace of mind.

Don't get me wrong, I hunger for the "final" specs. But honestly, what are your expectations? We've got new IGZO screen, ram, cpu and gpu.

I can only come up with a M2000M and maybe the Xeon 1545 as Zbook 15 Studio G3 shows. I however think it's a typo and it should have said 1535. If anything new will arrive, I don't think we'll see it the first few months in 2016.

I plan on going Xeon 1505, 16GB (had hoped for ECC), 4k and 512 PCIe M.2, 81Wh, 3 years prosupport. I still can't buy with Win 10 Pro in Denmark, but that's not an issue.

    A penny for your thought

The 1545m I believe is an Iris/Iris pro graphics Xeon CPU that has not been released yet. The battery in the Zbook is considerably smaller and the m2000m is going to be a battery hog so be prepared for heat and low unplugged times.

    My 2 cents

Would you mind sharing how long it took for the status to change from 'In production" to "Shipped". My current estimated delivery date is Dec 18th. Not sure how accurate these dates are.

No problem, placed my order on November 10th with a Dell Small Business chat representative and it was immediately listed as "in-production" which then shipped yesterday, November 23rd. My original estimated delivery date was December 2nd.
