Am doing a couple of installations at the moment but if i do have time to spare, i will try to do a short impression video.

i havent configured it nor used one yet, only switched it on once and its really cool because it lights up in the trackpad. The on button is at the left corner of the trackpad..will point that out if i get to do a video impression.

edit:Am pretty swamped this week but i will try to do the video impression over the weekend.

    Nyceis,

Can you please give me an update on using the 130W adapter on the M6400.
Does it seem to do the job or have you experienced any problems lately. I need to know before i decide on getting one because the 210w adapter is just too big.

    M6400 owners.

I'd be very interested to know your thoughts on your system. I'm thinking of a config that would handle video editing and computational modeling (quad core, 8GB, 7200rpm) but my concern is heat/fan noise/battery life.

Also, how well do the NVIDIA Quadro FX energy saving features work when doing non-intensive things (email, internet, Word)? Battery life?

Does the edge of the M6400 cause any discomfort after extended mouse pad use?

    Any other pros/cons.

Trying to decide between M4400 (tired eyes) and M6400(tired arms) !

and also avoid heat burns and early deafness

    :)

    Thanks.

any chance you could post a pic of the power brick beside the laptop? Also how's the battery life for everyday use?

Ditto. Thanks for the review and the pics comparing to the E1705. I had one of those and it's just to bulky for me, and with the huge brick transformer, this review makes me wanna stick with my relatively new Macbook Pro. I like the feature list, however.

What gave you that idea? According to the Dell specs, it's between 1.35" (front) and 1.5" (back).
