The popup says that with AC adapters less than 150w, the system will operating slower than full speed and charge the battery slower than normal. Thats why I want to test it. I just don't see this system using more than 130W except under heavy GPU use.

    My 4400 overheats very consistently.

Seems like the 4400 is pretty unstable. Can't wait for the 3 new 6400s, but unfortunately the ship date is 11/21.

If I dont have access to old 4400s but want to get a 130W adapter for the m6400, which one do I get, Does it have to be a specific one through Dell?

    great thanks,
You just saved me £100's :)

Pointless spending an extra £302 - £440 on buying an unlocked extreme processor that you can't overclock!

    A T9600 2.8GHz for me then :)

I ran into the same problem in trying to find an E/Port replicator for my M6400. All the descriptions that even included a power adapter had the 130W. However, my sales rep confirmed this to be the proper part number:

E/Port, Plus 210W Port Replicator for Dell Mobile Precision M6400, Customer Kit (430-3312)

I'm interested in the Jog/shuttle behavior of the touchpad. Have you tested that, preferably in some timeline-based application (Premiere, After Effects). What are the configuration options for it?
